Our Practice

Dr. Ritota obtained his M.D. from Rutgers Medical School in 1989. He completed his general surgery residency at UMDNJ University Medical Center in 1994 and his plastic surgery residency at Temple University in 1996. He entered solo practice in Hackensack in 1996.

The quality of care for patients and the safe functioning of his practice are of extreme importance. He is an artist and has respect for those qualities that enhance each patient's outlook. He also makes every effort to accommodate each patient both promptly and privately. His solo practice is dedicated to attention to detail and patient satisfaction. The practice of plastic surgery has to be a unique experience and tailored to the specific needs of each patient and individual.

One unique aspect of his practice is that it's located on the campus of one of the largest hospital settings in the state and ranked in the top 1% of all hospitals within the United States.

Our office suite is located on the 7th floor in the outpatient Medical Plaza building of Hackensack University Medical Center. This state-of-the-art facility offers on-site laboratories, operating rooms, radiology and mammography. Dr. Ritota's office provides a serene, calm atmosphere for his patients. The skyline views of New York City and nearby Teterboro airport remind us of the metropolitan environment with the accessibility and personal touch each patient is given.

The seventh floor suite is conveniently accessible to the medical center's services via a connector, which is located on the third floor of the Medical Plaza building. Complementary parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the Medical Plaza. The practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to its patients. The scheduling department takes special pride in scheduling appointments so delays are minimal. Every effort will be made to accommodate your scheduling needs. The plastic surgical procedures are performed in the Medical Plaza's new state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery institute.
